In 2012, with courage and determination, Driya Sejahtera planted 2,000 California papaya trees on their first farm. This marked the start of a journey that would go beyond just growing crops; it was about building a strong network between farmers, consumers, and the market.
The company continued to grow year by year. In 2013, Driya Sejahtera partnered with OVOP Koperasi 'Merta Nadi' to market organic vegetables like asparagus and cherry tomatoes, fostering stronger relationships between farmers and the market. What began as a small farm soon became a testament to the power of fair and sustainable partnerships.
However, challenges arose. In 2017, supermarkets in Bali began requesting a broader supply of vegetables from the general market, alongside their own farm's production. To maintain consistent quality and supply, Driya Sejahtera had to strengthen its distribution network, ensuring that products remained fresh and affordable.
From 2019 to 2022, amid the global upheaval caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Driya Sejahtera remained steadfast. Despite the widespread uncertainty, the company continued supporting partner farmers, ensuring their families could earn a livelihood. During this time, Driya Sejahtera also introduced an online shopping service, making fresh produce easily accessible and demonstrating its resilience and commitment to the community.
In response to ongoing challenges, Driya Sejahtera embraced innovation. In 2023, they partnered with Supermarket Pepito to supply asparagus and avocado mangoes across its network. Building on this momentum, in 2024, they formed a strategic partnership with Supermarket Grand Lucky Bali, further cementing their market presence and reinforcing their long-term growth.
